Connecting Futures at the CEE Tea Reception 2025

Last week, the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) greeted prospective students and parents at the CEE Tea Reception 2025. We are grateful for the wonderful turnout and the opportunity to connect with many of you. It was an engaging and meaningful session, with lively discussions about various academic pathways and the exciting opportunities that await at CEE.

The event began with an opening address by Professor Warren C. W. Chan, Dean of the College of Engineering, who warmly welcomed guests. Professor Chu Jian, Chair of the School, then took the stage to share insights about the vibrant student life, alumni successes, and diverse career prospects open to our graduates.

A key highlight was the engaging sharing by our three distinguished speakers:

  • Mohd Sufyan Bin Abdul Sukkur (Civil Engineering, Class of 2023)
  • Megan Chong (Environmental Engineering, Class of 2023)
  • Celine Chua (Maritime Studies, Class of 2024)

Their personal stories and experiences provided valuable perspectives on their academic journeys, campus life, and career opportunities, offering a glimpse into the supportive and dynamic community at CEE and the possibilities that lie ahead for those who embark on this exciting path.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and contributed to making this event a special one. We look forward to welcoming our new students in August 2025!
